Several years ago Angela Green came up with a way to thank the folks we trust with our lives and at the same time get to know them a little better. The idea is if to invite a controller to fly with you the next time you have an empty seat. The best way to do this is call the
facility at (850) 942-9642 when you plan to fly
and ask if anyone is interested in a flight or can be released
from Ron Fisher (FAA, ETSU, Air Traffic Manager, TLH ATCT) will let the Front Line Managers know they may receive a call from EAA members concerning flights. Who Said this? "Learning to fly was a work of art. I'm so passionate about flying I often fly up the coast for a cheeseburger. Flying is like good music; it elevates the spirit and it's an exhilarating freedom."

Subject: Naval Air Museum trip (Mar
27-28) Fellow EAAers,
I have gotten a few responses so far, but we still would like to get a few more members involved in this event. I have secured a block of rooms in the Navy Lodge, across the street from the museum, for those wishing to stayon the Naval Station ($62). There currently are three aircraft planning to fly and one passenger seat still open. I will need to supply them names soon so if you are interested in making this trip, fly or drive, please let me know as soon as possible. Jim Pancake fly-in to Moultrie
Thanks to everyone who
participated in the pancake fly-in to Moultrie on Saturday! We had
an exciting flight with 7 airplanes total between the FSU Seminole Flying
Club and the EAA Chapter 445. A special thanks to our EAA pilot
friends who donated some extra seats for the flight up. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
