April Picture of the Month

Mosier building his mosquito XET, one of 5 model
helicopters to chose from. He is building a turbine
model. It has a solar T62-2a1 converted APU engine 95shp.
Helicopter weight around 420 pounds empty and max gross of 850lbs.
Vne speed of 115 which is fast for a helicopter, but normal cruise is
around 70 -90

Three scholarship winners have
been selected to attend Air Academy this summer; Tyler Pollock and Avery
Chestnut from Bainbridge HS, and La'Courtney Baker from East Gadsden
HS.
Thanks to all of you that flew YE's last year we are receiving $955 credit towards the tuition ( tuition is $1,000 each). The tuition has been paid and we're working on getting plane reservations. Kelley Phillips Treasurer YE
Rally
Scott Sutor , Marty Shingler and Jeff Bauer flew 15
kids at the Fire Ant
festival in Ashburn March 28th. David Perryman flew over with Scott
and helped on the ground.
Three ROTC cadets from Bainbridge also helped
out.
Janice and David Watson from Quincy also flew over
in their Starduster.
