Lee Majors Helicopter Pilot for the Leon County Sheriff's Office will be our presenter. Lee will present an FAA video presentation on runway safety and runway incursions. This is a hot topic with the FAA right now. It runs about fourty minutes with a few minutes for discussion. Off to a Great Start We had 31 members join or renew their membership and 5 more said the checks in the mail. With so much negative press about the bad econnomy, it's good to know people still see value in this chapter. I'm behind on getting out the list I promised but I hope to do so this week. I met a local pilot Saturday who does custom embroidery on shirts. He said he can do our shirts for us. He is also interested in joining. We should have the shirts by the March meeting. We have set up one e-mail address that will go out to all the board members. Airfest Update The Airfest webpage is http://eaa445.org/airfest/ Winston Scott Retired Space Shuttle Astronaut and Honorary member of this chapter has graciously agreed to attend. CarolAnn Garratt Fastest Woman to fly around the world will also be there. Kelley has booked two T-6's from Warbird Adventures. Take a look at this video. It should get your heart pumping!
