2004 was a year of change for EAA 445. We welcomed many new members, had our first Fly-in at TLH , brought back the Pancake breakfasts.and had several fly-outs. We finished out the year strong with a visit from Captain Winston Scott and his wife Marilyn at our Christmas dinner. It was also a year of loss as one of our most active members Frank Smith passed away. Frank will be missed but his spirit of volunteering lives on within the chapter. I encourage everyone to attend our first meeting of the year on Jan 11th. Members and guests will be asked to share their most memorable flying experiences of 2004. This is a chance to tell your own story and hear some very interesting stories from other Pilots. There will be free pizza and soft drinks. You can also pay your dues which are due this month. Best wishes for a safe and prosperous new year and keep those ideas coming. John
