The Greatest Generation

In Tom Brokaw's book"The Greatest Generation"  he described the ordinary men and women who did extraordinary things in the course of W.W.II.

We are fortunate to have some of those brave men in our chapter. Gar Braun and Tom Baldwin are the most active and still contribute a great deal of time and energy into keeping this chapter going.

We will also have a guest speaker "Jim Armstrong" at our meeting Tuesday night who was shot down over France and spent 5 months evading the Germans with the help of some French Men and Women.  You won't want to miss his fascinating story.

I hope to see you there.

John

Dear John Sivyer

Hello, I have been a member of EAA since 1983.   I hope you can help me by informing your members about our mountain flying program.  I started a self flying, guided western adventure tour.  This tour includes mountain flying, horseback riding, western museums, and a lot more.  I would like to invite your chapter members to join us on the tour.  This is a win-win situation for your chapter members and Blue Goose Aviation, Inc.

Your members that join us win in that:

We provide a safe mountain flying tour.

We know which passes to use.

Time of day to fly.

Local weather patterns.

Our prices for the tour and events are cheaper than what an individual would pay if they booked everything on their own.

Your chapter member gains valuable experience while on a fun filled vacation.

Your member will share some of his/her experiences with the rest of your chapter.

Blue Goose Aviation benefits by filling our tours (8 airplanes max) with pilots that know their aircraft, want to gain more experience to make them an overall safer pilot.

I ask that you please inform your members of our program.  I have attached a press release that you may put in your chapter news letter or visit our website at www.bluegooseaviation.com .  Please call me at 719-683-6504, or stop by our booth at Sun-N-Fun if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support and have a safe flying year.

Joe Kuberka
